Web8 is a visual website builder that allows users to create websites using a visual, no-code interface and export their projects for use outside of Web8.
Web8 is currently operated personally from India and is made available to users globally. By accessing or using Web8, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
You may use Web8 only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.
If you use Web8 on behalf of a business, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have the authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.
You may use Web8 to create, edit, export, and otherwise work with websites for lawful purposes.
You agree not to use Web8:
To violate any applicable law or regulation.
To infringe or violate the rights of another person or organization.
To distribute malicious code, malware, viruses, or other harmful software.
To interfere with, disrupt, damage, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Web8 or its underlying systems.
To abuse, overload, reverse engineer, circumvent, or attempt to bypass security or technical restrictions of Web8.
To use Web8 for any fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful activity.
You retain ownership of the content you create, upload, import, enter, or otherwise use with Web8, except for content that belongs to third parties.
You are solely responsible for all content you use with Web8, including text, copy, images, photographs, graphics, illustrations, videos, audio, fonts, logos, trademarks, icons, SVG files, code, and other materials.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, permissions, licenses, and authorizations required to use such content and to publish, reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use it as intended.
Adding, uploading, importing, or using content in Web8 does not grant you any ownership or license rights to content belonging to another person or organization.
Web8 does not verify whether content used by you is properly licensed or whether you have the necessary rights to use it. You are solely responsible for determining and obtaining the necessary rights and permissions.
You agree not to use Web8 in a manner that infringes copyright, trademark, patent, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web8 is not responsible or liable for claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from or relating to content supplied or used by you, including claims involving copyright, trademark, licensing, privacy, publicity, or other intellectual property rights.
By using Web8, you grant Web8 permission to identify you, your business, or your organization as a Web8 user or client for promotional, marketing, informational, and business-development purposes.
Web8 may publicly mention or display your name, business name, website name, website URL, logo, or other publicly available information associated with a website created using Web8.
For example, Web8 may state that a person, business, or organization created or built a website using Web8 or may feature such a website as an example or showcase.
This permission may include use on the Web8 website, social media channels, promotional materials, presentations, portfolios, case studies, announcements, and other marketing or communication channels.
Web8 may also display or reference portions of a website created using Web8, including publicly visible text, images, designs, layouts, or other content, for the purpose of demonstrating or showcasing Web8 and its capabilities.
You represent that you have the necessary rights and permissions for any content you provide or publish through Web8 and that the promotional use described above does not violate the rights of any third party.
If you do not want a particular website, company name, logo, or other material associated with your use of Web8 to be used for promotional purposes, you may contact us at support@web8.io. Web8 may consider such requests at its discretion, subject to any promotional use that has already been published or distributed.
Web8 may allow you to export websites or website code for use outside of Web8.
After export, you are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, securing, hosting, maintaining, updating, deploying, and operating the exported website.
You are also responsible for ensuring that all content, code, fonts, images, libraries, and other materials included in an exported website are properly licensed and legally permitted for your intended use.
Web8 does not guarantee that exported websites will be compatible with every hosting provider, browser, server, device, operating system, third-party service, library, or future software environment.
Once a website has been exported, Web8 is not responsible for its operation, availability, performance, security, maintenance, content, licensing, or legal compliance.
In the current version of Web8, website projects and related website data may be stored locally in your browser or device rather than on Web8 servers.
This may include website structure, content, images, SVG files, icons, website settings, and other project data.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of your projects and exported websites.
Clearing browser storage, deleting website data, changing browsers or devices, browser failures, device failures, software errors, operating system changes, or other circumstances may result in the permanent loss of project data.
Web8 does not guarantee that locally stored project data can be recovered after it has been deleted, corrupted, lost, or otherwise becomes unavailable.
Web8 may be updated, modified, redesigned, or technically changed from time to time.
Future versions or updates may change the way projects and data are stored, processed, structured, or interpreted. As a result, older projects or data may become incompatible, unavailable, corrupted, modified, or lost.
Data may also be lost or become unavailable due to software errors, browser issues, device failures, server failures, hosting failures, security incidents, hacking, unauthorized access, infrastructure failures, technical problems, third-party failures, or other circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web8 is not liable for any loss, corruption, unavailability, deletion, or inability to recover your projects, website data, content, files, or other information for any reason.
You should regularly export your websites and maintain independent backup copies of important projects and data. You should not rely on Web8 as your only copy or backup of any website or project.
Web8 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that Web8 will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free from technical problems.
Web8 may become temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, upgrades, software errors, technical failures, network problems, security incidents, hosting problems, third-party service failures, or other circumstances.
We may modify, restrict, suspend, discontinue, or otherwise change any part of Web8 at any time, including features, functionality, availability, or access to the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web8 is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the unavailability, interruption, modification, suspension, restriction, or discontinuation of Web8.
We take reasonable measures intended to protect Web8 and its infrastructure, which may include HTTPS, firewalls, Cloudflare security services, access controls, input validation, and measures intended to detect or prevent abuse.
However, no website, software, server, network, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Web8 does not guarantee that the service will be free from vulnerabilities, hacking, unauthorized access, malware, data breaches, security incidents, or other security threats.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web8 is not liable for losses or damages resulting from security incidents, unauthorized access, hacking, malware, vulnerabilities, or other security events.
Web8 may use or depend on third-party services, infrastructure, software, hosting providers, content delivery networks, analytics services, security services, or other external providers.
Third-party services may include services provided by Google, Cloudflare, or other providers.
Web8 does not control the availability, security, performance, policies, or operation of third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web8 is not responsible or liable for failures, interruptions, changes, security incidents, data loss, or other problems caused by third-party services.
Web8 and its underlying software, website, branding, logos, interface, design, original content, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to Web8 and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except as expressly permitted by Web8, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit Web8 or its proprietary software, branding, design, or other protected materials.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Web8 or its intellectual property to you.
If you provide suggestions, ideas, feedback, recommendations, or other comments regarding Web8, you agree that Web8 may use such feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
You grant Web8 the right to use, reproduce, modify, develop, and incorporate such feedback into Web8 or related products and services.
Web8 may introduce paid plans, subscriptions, or other paid features in the future.
Any paid plans will be subject to the pricing, billing terms, renewal terms, refund policies, and other conditions presented at the time of purchase.
Additional terms may apply to paid services and will form part of your agreement with Web8.
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Web8 if we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or the rights of another person or organization.
We may also suspend, restrict, or terminate access where necessary to protect Web8, its users, infrastructure, or third parties.
We may discontinue Web8 or any part of the service at any time.
Upon termination or discontinuation, you may lose access to features, services, or data associated with Web8.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web8 is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.
We do not guarantee that Web8 will meet your requirements, operate without interruption or errors, remain available, be compatible with your systems, preserve your data, remain secure, or produce any particular result.
We do not guarantee that exported websites will operate correctly in every environment or remain compatible with future browsers, servers, hosting providers, software, or third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Web8 and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, business opportunities, data, content, projects, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
This limitation applies to losses or damages arising from or relating to the use of or inability to use Web8, including service unavailability, interruption, modification, suspension, discontinuation, data loss, project loss, server failure, hosting failure, hacking, unauthorized access, security incidents, software errors, technical failures, third-party failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total aggregate liability of Web8 and its operator for any claim arising out of or relating to Web8 shall not exceed the amount you paid to Web8 for the service giving rise to the claim during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Web8 and its operator from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from or relating to your use of Web8, your content, your violation of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your infringement or violation of the rights of another person or organization.
Web8 will not be responsible for delays, interruptions, failures, or inability to provide the service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, war, civil unrest, internet or network failures, power failures, cyberattacks, infrastructure failures, hosting failures, third-party service failures, or other events beyond our reasonable control.
Web8 may be modified, updated, redesigned, expanded, restricted, or discontinued at any time.
Features available today may be changed or removed, and new features may be introduced.
We do not guarantee that any particular feature or functionality will remain available indefinitely.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Web8, applicable laws, features, services, or business practices.
When the Terms are updated, the revised version will be published on the Web8 website with an updated effective date.
Your continued use of Web8 after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Subject to any mandatory rights or protections that apply to you under the laws of your jurisdiction, disputes relating to these Terms or Web8 shall be subject to the applicable courts and legal processes in India.
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be interpreted or modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, where legally permitted.
The remaining provisions of these Terms shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with any other policies or terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Web8 regarding your use of the service and supersede prior agreements or understandings relating to the same subject matter.
